Barbara is the ECSP Director, and she teaches a half-day K4 class. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Liberty University, and is continuing her MS there. She began working at ECSP in 2005 as one of the first preschool teachers.
Pat began working at ECSP in 2012. She graduated from Macon State College with an A.S. in Business Administration. She enjoys being able to support the directors, teachers and staff in their daily ministry to students and their families.
Ms. Parks teaches Kindergarten. She joined Effort Christian School and Preschool in 2010 and has over 20 years of classroom teaching experience. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Hyles-Anderson College, and is honored to have touched the lives of many students and their families throughout her teaching career.
Mrs. Steger teaches 1st Grade. She has over a decade of teaching experience from 1st though 5th grades. Mrs. Steger holds her Bachelor’s of Education from SUNY Cortland and her Master’s of Education with a specialty in Reading and Literacy from Walden University.
Mrs. Pittman teaches 2nd Grade, and began teaching at ECSP in 2014. She holds a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Lesley University and has over ten years of teaching experience. Teaching is truly a calling for her and she feels blessed to be part of the Effort staff.
Mrs. Craft teaches Upper Elementary at Effort Christian School and Preschool. With over two decades of teaching experience, Mrs. Craft holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from the University of Houston with specializations in Math and Reading.
Mrs. Gach teaches our Middle School students in grades 6th, 7th and 8th. She holds her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, with an emphasis in Mathematics, from Missouri Western State University.
Lynn teaches our youngest preschoolers, in our 2 1/2-year-old class. She has over 35 years of teaching experience, including pre-K, reading and 27 years of kindergarten. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and is a Reading Specialist.
Connie teaches a K4 class, and has worked at Effort Christian School and Preschool for 7 years. She holds a certificate in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont Virginia Community College. Connie loves Jesus and finds great joy in sharing the love of Jesus with the children at ECSP.
Shelby teaches a 3-year-old class at ECSP. She has over 35 years experience working with children, and is just the right fit for our precious little ones. She loves to sing and do arts and crafts with her class.
Angela teaches K4 and also works in our After School Program. She has A.A. Degree from Piedmont Virginia Community College. She feels very blessed for the opportunity to be a K4 teacher at Effort Christian School and Preschool.
Children’s Minister/K-4 Teacher
Susan began teaching at ECSP in January 2010. She currently teaches a half day K4 class. Susan also serves as the Children’s Minister at Effort Church. She considers her days in the classroom a blessing from God.
